Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia

Through the generosity of others, the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia aspires to provide hope, opportunity and most of all, community, to individuals who need it the most.

Standing as a champion for over 200,000 Nova Scotians living with mental illness, the Foundation is committed to empowering transformation both their lives and the care and support provided to them. Their need is the Foundation's mission. This is a privilege the Foundation takes very seriously.

Focussed on creating a sustainable network of philanthropic support, donors and volunteers allows the Foundation to fund vital programs and services in communities across the province Nova Scotia as well as raise awareness and tear down the walls of stigma associated with mental illness.

With your help, they are changing the way people think about mental illness.

A project grant from the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, awarded to Andrew Starzomski, Brad Kelln and others at Capital Health, has been the primary funding for Atlantic Minds Wide Open this year. Their funding was also involved in facilitating production of some of the videos that you will see at the festival.
